Timber Truck
This van was a fun project we worked on for years in our spare time and it’s wrapped up for a new owner. The van was originally designed as a modern Conestoga Wagon as a nod to the Old West here in Colorado. It’s obviously a fun rig, but it was built with utility in mind and it’s totally usable as a pickup truck, weekend driver, or a platform for a unique camper.
The rear wagon cage keeps everything rigid. It is functional and can be expanded upon easily with racks or the full canvas treatment. The bed is totally finished; body cuts and doors are capped and welded. High quality materials were used throughout and details were not overlooked.
The cabin is sealed and quiet going down the road. The seats are comfy heated buckets and the suspension is well tuned for a rig on 37″s. It’s a fairly spartan truck and not a concourse vehicle, but it’s a lot of fun to ride in, and in the words of our alignment shop: “It drives better than it should.”
